My name is Yuriy, and I’m a user experience designer. I am currently employed as a UX Design Lead with Amazon in Seattle, Washington.

I combine an understanding of design, marketing and information technology to build awesome brands and user-centric digital products.

User Experience Design: This is my comfort zone. Desktop, mobile, tablet, e-commerce, television, xbox, web, native apps- if it’s on a screen (or even not, in some cases) I can design it. It’s common for me to take up half a whiteboard doodling wireframes during meetings.

Branding: Logos, iconography, print design, creative direction, identity workshops. I grew into the shoes of a UX Designer from a visual designer background, and I think it shows in my work and process.

Leadership: UX workshops, people management, specs & guidelines, style guides. Since I know how to code, I’m able manage small teams (in-house or contracting) ensuring there’s clear transitions from concept and executional stages of projects.

Over 100 executed design projects, for a wide variety of companies

Name Brands: Amazon, American Family Insurance, Allstate Insurance, Buick, Herschend Family Entertainment, Frosted Mini Wheats, Oreo, Samsung, Volvo, Dollywood Parks, Dell, Hillshire Farm, J&J, Pampers, Jack Hanna, Weather Channel, Nickelodeon and others.

Places: Columbus Zoo, Busch Gardens Tampa, Silver Dollar City Theme Park, Wild Adventures Theme Park

Organizations: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Ukrainian Community Center of Washington, The Church of Grace, Kent (WA) Licensing

Agencies: Mindclay Creative, Avanade, Weber Marketing, Razorfish, Publicis, Hey, Starcom, Digitas, Saatchi & Saatchi

Medical: NW Clinical Research Center, Steward Health, Cenzic

I didn’t work with all the above clients directly, at times It was under the employment/commission of an agency.

I’ve worked with people all over the world

I’ve always jumped at opportunities to work Internationally. Getting to work with people overseas always seems to offer unique perspectives into the inner workings of different cultures. It’s typically challenging, usually fun, and always a learning experience. Here’s just how much work I’ve done all over the world, circa January 2014:

These are measured by project, not by client. A single client can commission multiple projects.

Yuriy is an intelligent, ambitious, and pleasantly humble individual who’s a pleasure to work with. He really puts the extra effort into his work which clearly show’s in the final product. I will definitely be working with Yuriy again in the future and watching with confidence his level of success continue to elevate.
